8月29日（月）実施予定の「高校生羽田空港見学ツアー」の参加申込み締切を8月15日13時までと設定させていただいておりましたが、当方の予測を上回る多数のご応募をいただきましたため、誠に勝手ながら参加申込み受付を本日14時にて終了させていただきました。なにとぞご了承いただけますようお願い申し上げます。また英語英文科の教育内容につきましては、8月19日（金）および9月10日（土）実施予定のオープンキャンパスにてもご覧いただけます。多数のご来場をお待ち申し上げております。

常葉学園短期大学英語英文科では、高校生の皆さんに本科で行われている授業をご体験いただくため、「羽田空港見学ツアー」の実施を予定しており、ただいま参加申込みを受付中です。

６／１１(土)に語学キャンプ①が行われました。
たくさんの外国人の先生方とロールプレイ・食事会・プレゼンテーションを楽しみました。

We had the first English Camp on July 11. I enjoyed it very much. The activities in this camp were: simulation in the airport and presentations of Japanese culture. Some students helped to prepare the English Camp the day before. We created an airport and inside an airplane within our college campus, and native speakers became staff, security guards, cabin attendants and so on. They looked very natural ! Of course, we had to speak only English all day! It was very difficult for us, but we just tried.

About 10 non-Japanese English speakers participated in this camp. They were very friendly, so I could relax when speaking and communicating in English with them, not only during the activities, but also in our free time and at lunch time.

It was sometimes hard for me, but it was soooooooo fun and a good experience!! I could use and speak English with native speakers all day, and also learned about different cultures. Thanks to everyone’s cooperation we had a wonderful time. I wish more students would take part in this camp next time!!

    1月19日(水)に2年生による卒業研究発表会が行われました。発表者7名は自ら研究を進め、パワーポイントやプリントにまとめ発表してくれました。発表では“美肌を保つための対策方法”といった私たちに身近なものから、“児童虐待について”や“飢餓の現状”など考えさせられるものもありました。“ステレオタイプ”の発表では、ステレオタイプのおこる原因や、様々な国についてのステレオタイプを紹介してくれました。その中には私の考えと共通するものや、初めて耳にするものもありました。日本人がどう見られているかも知ることができ、とても興味深かったです。全てをステレオタイプで判断してはいけないと思いますが、様々な国の特長が表れていて面白いと思いました。“チョコレートの苦いお話”は、アフリカのカカオ農園で働く子どもたちについてでした。私たちにとってチョコレートは身近なものですが、その子どもたちは、ずっと働かされているのにも関わらず、チョコレートを見たこともないという事に驚きました。貧困の差につぃては、私たちが考えなければならない、と発表を聞いて思いました。今回の発表会では、様々なテーマがあり、そのテーマについてだけでなく、発表者の意見も聞け、とても興味深く、たくさん学べることができました。

    We enjoyed our Christmas party a lot. Almost every student helped to prepare for the party or clean away afterwards. We did fun activities, ate delicious food and took many photos with our teachers and friends, and of the decorations too! I’m proud of this department because of events such as this and the teachers. They make us really happy. Anyway, we had a wonderful time!
